Meet the artist
Denis Abazi, born in Italy (BL) on June 29, 1996, is a visual and conceptual artist. In 2021, she graduated in Painting from the G. B. Cignaroli Academy of Fine Arts in Verona.
Her relationship with Spain began in 2019 with a 6-month Erasmus program for studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Granada, where she developed sculptural works and performative projects.
She currently lives in Barcelona, where she conducts research on physical violence, tracing the indelible marks of wartime violence that still inform the Catalan capital today. Currently, Abazi’s artistic activity is primarily concentrated between Spain and Italy
