Martín de Diego is a Spanish artist whose work explores surreal, haunting landscapes and hybrid architectures charged with symbolism. His visual universe is deeply rooted in fantasy, science fiction, and the subconscious—blending reality with dreamlike constructions that evoke awe and unease in equal measure.

Martín works primarily in oil painting, a medium he has recently embraced with renewed fascination and dedication. His compositions are meticulous yet organic, often fusing elements of the human body with monumental structures, ancient temples, and imaginary ruins. Each piece tells a story that seems to exist outside of time, inviting viewers into otherworldly realms where beauty and decay intertwine.

The painting presented here is the original artwork created for the book cover of “Church” by Felix Blackwell, a project that allowed the artist to delve even deeper into his vision of spectral, frozen silence and forgotten divinity.
